How to Make Your Daughter's Swimsuit Last Longer in Saudi Arabia

Strong sun, chlorine, and salt water all wear swimwear down. These steps keep it in good shape for longer.

Right after swimming

  • Rinse it with cold, fresh water, whether she swam in a pool or the sea
  • Do not leave it rolled up wet in a bag

Washing

  • Machine washing and tumble drying are not recommended
  • If you do use the machine, put the swimsuit in a laundry bag to help prevent fading
  • Never use bleach or harsh chemicals

Drying and storing

  • Hang it to dry in the shade
  • Avoid long hours of direct sunlight, which is easy to forget on a balcony in summer
  • Once fully dry, store it flat or hanging in a cool, dry place

While she wears it

  • Avoid rough surfaces such as pool edges and rocks
  • A swimsuit that is too tight wears out faster. If she is between two sizes, choose the bigger one
