When to Move Your Daughter from Girls to Teens Swimwear Sizes in Saudi Arabia
Wavy uses two sizing systems. Knowing when to switch between them can save you an exchange.
The two systems
- Girls: numbered sizes, 8 to 16
- Teens and adults: lettered sizes, S to XL
- Each system has its own size chart, so do not convert between them by guessing
Signs it is time to check the teens chart
- She already wears size 16 and it feels tight
- Her chest, waist, or hip measurement is above the size 16 range
- Her height or arm length is past the girls range
- Age is not a reliable guide. Two girls of the same age can need different systems
How to decide
- Measure her height, chest, waist, hip, and arm for the top, then waist and length for the short
- Compare the numbers with both charts
- Measure the top and the short separately, since they can need different sizes
- If her measurements fall between two sizes, choose the bigger one
